ADHD is one of the most commonly diagnosed psychiatric disorders in children and one that commonly presents in the office of neuropsychologists. However, just as there are so many different symptom presentations and symptom clusters, there are as many treatments frequently advertised. This seminar will provide an overview of the various treatments often associated and discussed in relation to ADHD, from medications to diets to behavioral and executive functioning interventions. The seminar will provide information about the research evidence for a variety of treatments that will enable you to confidently determine the appropriate treatment recommendations for your patients.
