Given the growing justice-involved population as well as the current culture of litigation, it is likely that a clinical neuropsychologist will become involved in a forensic context, either intentionally or unintentionally. Indeed, forensic neuropsychology is a rapidly growing niche, with evolving standards and ongoing advances. This webinar is intended to provide an introduction to neuropsychologists who wish to gain knowledge of the fundamental elements of forensic neuropsychology. The unique role, ethical considerations, and applications of this practice area will be defined. Illustrative case examples will be utilized to highlight evaluation, report writing, and testimony strategies.
