Personal Statement
As a well-trained neuropsychologist my specialty is in understanding neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders and how they affect abilities. An assessment will evaluate brain functioning to determine current abilities and make appropriate diagnosis and treatment recommendations. My aim is to help determine how you are functioning now and how to best help you move forward. I strive to see the whole person and to provide a warm and caring environment so that you leave feeling heard and helped to know what direction to take next in your recovery and/or treatment.

Assessment of cognition examines memory, language, learning, attention, planning, organization, motor skills and processing speed in addition to intellect and emotions. Testing involves an interview, medical record review, paper and pencil tests, questions and puzzles to evaluate how your brain is working and how you are functioning.

Clinical or forensic neuropsychological assessments available for ages 3-100. Our practice also consists of other NYS Licensed Psychologists who conduct cognitive remediation which is therapeutic brain exercises to aid in recovery and compensatory methods for brain disorders and clinical psychologists trained in mindfulness/cognitive behavioral/interpersonal therapy.
