Dr. John McGinley is an Assistant Professor in Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and a clinical neuropsychologist in the Department of Neurology’s Neuropsychology Division at Montefiore Medical Center. He is a lifespan neuropsychologist with an emphasis in pediatric neuropsychology assessment and a member of Montefiore’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Management Center. He completed his clinical psychology internship at St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center on Long Island and earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology at The Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. He annually guest lecturer's to Ferkauf PhD students on the topics of Epilepsy and Performance Validity Testing; coordinates the Neuropsychology lecture series for Montefiore Pediatric Neurology Residents; and, supervises/mentors Ferkauf and Einstein students with submissions to national conferences. He is a Fellow of the American Epilepsy Society (FAES) and Vice-Chair of the New York State Education Department’s Psychology Board.
