Professional Interests
Dr. Paula Zuffante is a pediatric neuropsychologist in private practice in Slingerlands, NY. She is board certified in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), with subspecialty certification in pediatric neuropsychology. She works with individuals from preschool to college age who present with various neurologic conditions (e.g., epilepsy, traumatic brain injury) and neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., learning disorders, genetic syndromes, autism, intellectual disability). In addition to neuropsychological and educational evaluations, she provides diagnostic autism spectrum evaluations, forensic consultation services, and cognitive behavioral treatment for tics and Tourette disorder. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Florida, and she completed a clinical internship at Brown University and a two year postdoctoral fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Before moving to the Capital Region, Dr. Zuffante worked as clinician, researcher, and educator at Schneider Children's Hospital in Long Island. Her areas of research focused on neuroimaging (MRI, fMRI) and executive functions. Dr. Zuffante opened her private practice, Children’s Neuropsychological Services, PLLC, in 2002.
