The CASM Committee enhances communication, professional development, and public awareness regarding the field of neuropsychology. Through innovative outreach, we engage NYSAN members, attract new professionals, and maintain a strong online presence to reach neuropsychologists and consumers across New York State.

Our Focus:

  • NYSAN Website: Regularly updated with essential documentation, news, and a calendar of events. Members can create professional profiles accessible to the public and other providers.
  • Lecture Series: Established in 2015, this series fosters professional growth for students and practitioners while offering opportunities for CE credits.
  • Public & Professional Outreach: Informative lectures, articles, and online engagement to help patients, families, clinicians, and educators understand neuropsychologists' critical role in evaluation, collaboration, and treatment.
  • Social Events: CASM organizes an annual in-person social event bringing together members and celebrating their achievements. Our goal is to expand networking opportunities to areas across New York State.
  • Social Media Engagement:
    • Facebook Group: CASM offers a platform for the public to ask questions answered by vetted NYS neuropsychologists.
    • Regular Updates: CASM shares recent research, insights, and CE webinar opportunities on Instagram (@nysan_ig), LinkedIn, and Facebook.
    • Social Media Subcommittee: In partnership with PIPAC, this team explores new ways to connect with professionals and the public via digital platforms.

Join us in shaping the future of neuropsychology communication and outreach!
