Dementia is a condition which includes changes in memory, language, and other thinking skills. It may also become harder to complete daily tasks, such as handling bills or managing medications.
There are many different types of dementia. Alzheimer's disease is the most well-known, with prominent changes in memory. Other causes of dementia include vascular injuries (e.g., strokes), Lewy Body Dementia, and Frontotemporal Dementia.
